5 months after Bradley Klose went missing, police make a tragic discovery
Peoria, Arizona: On April 8, 17-year-old Bradley Klose walked out of his place of work, leaving behind his phone and his wallet. Bradley would never be seen again.
Now, a five-month search has made a tragic discovery; Peoria police have confirmed that human remains found near 67th Avenue and Happy Valley Road on Monday belong to Bradley.
According to investigators Bradley was on the autism spectrum and at the time his family immediately raised concerns for his safety because it was “not typical behavior".
Soon after Bradley was reported missing, a search involving the police and volunteers was carried out. Five months later, Bradley's remains were discovered by a person exercising just five miles from where he was last seen. Strangely, this area had previously been searched by Peoria police.
Bradley’s family are grieving, but they have taken a modicum of solace in the fact that his body has been found. They said in a statement: “This is a heartbreaking end to the search for Bradley. Our family is in mourning and kindly asks for privacy as we work through this difficult time. Though this is not the outcome we had hoped for, we praise God for answering prayers and shining a light on Bradley. We would like to thank all of our friends, neighbors, the community and the Peoria police Department for not giving up on the search.”
The cause and time of Bradley's death are still under investigation. Police currently see no signs of foul play, and no suspects are being sought in connection with the case.
