5 things you need to know about the Freeport Logistics roof collapse as body of missing worker 'found'
Phoenix, Arizona: On Wednesday, July 24, the roof collapsed at Freeport Logistics in Phoenix during a severe microburst. The incident was caused by the intense rainfall overwhelming the building's drainage system, leading to the roof's structural failure. One man was suspected to have been trapped inside. After a four day search Phoenix Fire Department located the body of a man. There is no official confirmation that the body is that of the missing man.
1) How did the roof collapse?
It is suspected that a microburst on Wednesday lifted and partially destroyed the roof of Freeport Logistics in west Phoenix. Phoenix Fire Captain Todd Keller described the scene: "There were racks of products 40 feet tall. When the roof blew off, all those racks collapsed and it kind of corkscrewed and piled down."
2) Who is Oswaldo Antonio Montoya Torres?
According to KYMA, a 22-year-old Oswaldo Antonio Montoya Torres was trapped inside after the roof collapse. According to sources Torres just became a dad two weeks ago to a baby boy and worked as a forklift operator here at Freeport for about a year.

Officially no. The man's death and identity are being investigated by the Phoenix PD in conjunction with the Maricopa County Medical Examiner. Officials say there is no evidence yet to indicate that the body found was the missing man.
4) Is the operation dangerous for rescue teams?
Yes, very. Nearly 50,000 pounds of concrete and debris have been removed as crews looked for the missing man. The structure continues to be unsound and with the amount of loose debris, workers have to constantly be on the lookout for more collapses and other dangers. "We are worried about secondary collapses, in situations like this, we have our structural engineers working with us," said Phoenix Fire Captain Todd Keller.
