Phoenix, Arizona (Release): If you're planning on hitting the road this 4th of July then here's some great news. The Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT) says no construction closures are scheduled on state highways from Wednesday afternoon, July 3, to Monday morning, July 8.

ADOT, however, is advising motorists to slow down, allow extra time and use caution when approaching and traveling through existing work zones like ADOT’s State Route 89A rockfall mitigation project between Flagstaff and Sedona, where traffic is alternating one direction at a time at the Oak Creek Canyon switchbacks.
