Aliccia Grant: Family and friends pay tribute to woman who met a tragic end

Tempe, Arizona: Family and friends of Aliccia Grant gathered to remember and honor her memory. The 37-year-old, died last month, after she was stabbed to death by her husband, Stephen Dennis, on September 9. The vigil took place at the Aveda Institute, where Alicia was taking classes.

Aliccia was found murdered after Phoenix police responded to a 911 call placed by Aliccia’s husband. When officers arrived at the scene -- a parking lot -- near Cave Creek and Thunderbird, they found Aliccia had been stabbed multiple times. She was rushed to the hospital but did not survive her injuries. Dennis is facing charges of second-degree murder. No motive has so far been released.

Aliccia has been described as an amazing person and a wonderful human being, beloved by classmates and teachers at the Aveda Institute.
