Arizona Primary Election: 3 things you need to now before you head to the polls
Phoenix, Arizona: As Arizona voters head to the polls on Tuesday to select nominees for a number of offices, we answer a few of the most frequently asked questions.
Where can I go to vote?
In-person voting began on July 3, and will continue till election day on Tuesday, July 30, 2024. Voting sites will be open from 6am to 7pm. Here is the full list of voting venues.
What ID do I need to vote?
Every voter is required to show proof of identity when voting in person. You need a valid government issued ID that includes your name, photo and the address where you are registered to vote.
Acceptable forms of identification with photograph, name, and address of the elector are:
Valid Arizona driver license
Valid Arizona non-operating identification license
Tribal enrollment card or other form of tribal identification
Valid United States federal, state, or local government issued identification
What if I don't have sufficient identification?
If a voter does not have sufficient identification when voting in person, the voter will be offered a conditional provisional ballot. In order for the conditional ballot to be valid and counted, state law requires the voter must provide sufficient ID to the County Recorder five business days after the Primary Election.
