Bill Clinton reveals the one thing former friend Donald Trump is good at
Phoenix, Arizona: Former President Bill Clinton spoke to an energized a crowd of supporters in Phoenix, rallying for Vice President Kamala Harris and US Senate candidate Congressman Ruben Gallego.
Clinton, who took the stage following remarks from Phoenix Mayor Kate Gallego and Rep Gallego, emphasized the importance of early voting and urged the crowd to support Democrats across the ballot.
"We have too much going for us in Arizona and the United States to squander these opportunities," Clinton said
Clinton reminisced about his past success in Arizona, noting that he turned the state blue during his 1996 re-election campaign. Earlier in the day, Clinton attended a 'Black Leaders for Kamala Harris' event, where he expressed optimism about Arizona’s potential to vote Democratic, stating the state is in better shape to "vote blue" than some traditionally Democratic-leaning states.
“He's gotta take the election away from them by distraction and division,” Clinton said of former president Donald Trump. “The choice is clear unless you don’t want a solution. Unless you want to keep people miserable. Unless you think you can blame your way to kingdom come. So that’s why I think she’s the clear choice.”
“I'm one of the few people who believes he knows both candidates well. And for years, I had a very good relationship with President Trump. He's really good at some things. He was a very good golfer. But when it comes to politics, he believes good politics is total domination. … It's not a good idea.”
