Blasts From The Past: Arizona State Fair 2024 announces headline acts for Coliseum Concert series
Phoenix, Arizona: The Arizona State Fair 2024 has announced the headline acts for its Coliseum Concert Series '24 which is part of the Fair that will run from October 4 to October 27 at the Arizona State Fairgrounds in Phoenix.
The All American Rejects will play on Saturday, October 12 from 7pm; Vanilla Ice, Rob Base and Montell Jordan will take the stage on Friday, October 18 at 70 as part of the 'Love the 90s Tour'; and Big Time Rush will play Friday, October 25 ay 7pm.
The All-American Rejects
The All-American Rejects are a rock band formed in Stillwater, Oklahoma, in 1999. The band consists of lead vocalist and bassist Tyson Ritter, lead guitarist Nick Wheeler, rhythm guitarist Mike Kennerty, and drummer Chris Gaylor. The band gained popularity with hits like 'Swing, Swing' and 'Move Along'. Their song 'Gives You Hell' became a major success, topping the charts.
Vanilla Ice
Vanilla Ice, (Robert Matthew Van Winkle) is best known for his 1990 smash hit single 'Ice Ice Baby', which was the first hip-hop song to top the Billboard charts. His debut album, 'To the Extreme', was also a huge success.
Rob Base
New Yorker Rob Base (Robert Ginyard) is best known for his 1988 hit single 'It Takes Two', which he performed with DJ E-Z Rock. Base's debut album, also titled 'It Takes Two', achieved platinum status.
Montell Jordan
Montell Jordan is best known for his 1995 hit single 'This Is How We Do It'. His debut album, 'This Is How We Do It', achieved platinum status. Jordan has also pursued a career in ministry, becoming a worship leader at Victory World Church in Atlanta.
Big Time Rush
Big Time Rush is a pop music boy-band formed in 2009, consisting of members Kendall Schmidt, James Maslow, Carlos PenaVega, and Logan Henderson. The group gained fame through their Nickelodeon TV series 'Big Time Rush'. Their debut album, 'BTR', was released in 2010, featuring hits like 'Boyfriend' and 'Til I Forget About You'. The group disbanded in 2014 but reunited in 2021.
