Washington D.C.: Discussing the pro-Palestinian demonstrations on Ivy League schools and universities nationwide, Princeton political scientist Lauren Wright notes that most Americans find the protests, including incidents of vandalism and clashes, "unthinkable."

Speaking to Jon Scott on Fox News, Wright says universities have struggled to justify their responses, further fueling skepticism about higher education’s value.

While protests dominate headlines, Wright highlights that President Trump’s approval remains strong on issues like government spending cuts (50%) but weaker on tariffs and the economy (40%). Many voters, she says, are giving his aggressive fiscal approach a chance, questioning why Democrats didn’t push similar measures.
