Donald Trump boosts morbid conspiracy theory, but he may have crossed a line this time

Washington D.C.: President Donald Trump sparked confusion and outrage on social media Saturday night after sharing a bizarre conspiracy theory suggesting that President Joe Biden died in 2020 and has since been replaced by a "clone".
The post, originally made by a Truth Social user named llijh, claimed, "There is no #JoeBiden - executed in 2020. #Biden clones doubles & robotic engineered soulless mindless entities are what you see. #Democrats dont know the difference." Trump did not comment on the claim but amplified it to his followers, sending the theory viral.
The suggestion triggered a frenzy online, with supporters and critics alike reacting in disbelief. Some Trump backers embraced the conspiracy, with one writing, "We all knew something was completely off."
Others celebrated Trump’s repost, with a QAnon sympathizer declaring, "NCSWIC…nothing! Trust the Plan!"—referencing the slogan 'Nothing Can Stop What Is Coming'.

Critics, however, mocked the absurdity of the claim. "Just like all MAGAts, you're all into conspiracy theories. Do you think the earth is flat as well?" one user quipped.
This isn’t the first time Trump has promoted fringe theories. The bizarre post comes amid renewed scrutiny over Biden’s health. Last month, reports revealed Biden had been diagnosed with aggressive prostate cancer, raising questions about transparency during his presidency.
A recent book by Jake Tapper and Alex Thompson, "Original Sin," also detailed concerns among aides about Biden’s mental acuity in his final months in office.
