First-ever Sound Bites Music & Food Festival set to rock to the sounds of the 90s

Gilbert, Arizona: This October 12 Gilbert Regional Park will host the first-ever edition of Sound Bites Music & Food Festival. This new event promises a day filled with live music, delicious food, and unforgettable experiences for all ages.

Don't take our word for it, just check out the music line-up featuring the likes of Arizona's best and brightest Gin Blossoms, The Black Moods and the High 90's. Gates open at 2pm on October 12 and close at 9pm

Music Lineup

2pm-4pm: High 90's

Hailing from Scottsdale, the High 90's will be playing the hits from Red Hot Chili Peppers, Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Stone Temple Pilots, Green Day, Alice in Chains and many more. If you're an alt rock fan then you won't want to miss this. 

4.30pm-6.30pm: The Black Moods

Hailng from Tempe, The Black Moods known for their blend of classic rock, modern rock, and blues influences. Formed in 2012, the band consists of Josh Kennedy (vocals, guitar), Jordan Hoffman (bass), and Chico Diaz (drums). They have released several albums, including 'Medicine' and 'Sunshine', gaining a reputation for their energetic live performances.

Also hailing from Tempe, the band gained fame in the late 80s with hits like 'Hey Jealousy', 'Allison Road', and 'Til I Hear It From You'.  From their breakout album through today, Robin, Jesse, Bill and Scotty have sold over 10 million records and are one of the most in demand 90’s live artists who began at the end of the grunge era.

How much do tickets cost?

Tickets for adults (12 and over) are priced at $25-$50, and children under 12 enter for free. Cabana rental costs $800 and includes eight adult admission tickets, two VIP parking passes, bar service, and a private cabana with a patio extension. Please note that children under 12 years are NOT permitted in the Cabana area.

Is there parking available?

Parking will be available on-site at Gilbert Regional Park located at 3005 E Queen Creek Rd, Gilbert, AZ 85298 via credit/debit only. Parking lots will open at 1.30pm. Tailgating is NOT permitted. 

Will there be food and alcohol available?

Food will be more than available, it promises to be a feat featuring from classic BBQ, burgers, and pretzels to tapas. There will be several different food trucks on-site for the event. Alcohol will also available for purchase for attendees 21+ with valid identification. Please note vendors will be accepting card payments. NO ATMs are available on site.  

What can I NOT carry to the venue?

Coolers, food, drinks (including alcohol), briefcases, luggage, backpacks, computer bags, glass containers, canopies or tents, umbrellas (chair umbrellas are permitted), wagons, pets, drugs or drug paraphernalia, frisbees, fireworks/explosives, toy weapons or real weapons of any kind (including pocket knives, pepper spray, etc.), professional recording equipment: photo, video, or audio (no detachable lenses, tripods, big zooms or commercial use rigs), drones, camelbacks, spray paint, large chains or spiked jewelry. Please note that bags and strollers may be checked.

What can I NOT do at the event?

Moshing, crowd surfing, and/or stage diving is not allowed, as are unauthorized/unlicensed vendors, unauthorized solicitations, handbills, flyers, stickers, sampling, giveaways, etc.
