Phoenix traffic restrictions: Expect congestion on both I-10 and SR-143

Phoenix, Arizona: Commuters please be aware of the following closures and restrictions on these Phoenix-area freeways

Be aware of these restrictions and closures before you leave the house.

Westbound I-10 narrowed to two or three lanes in areas between US 60 (Superstition Freeway) and 24th Street near Sky Harbor Airport from 8pm Friday to 4am. Monday (August 26). Eastbound I-10 also narrowed to three lanes between Broadway Road and US 60.

Southbound SR 143 (Hohokam Expressway) closed between Loop 202 (Red Mountain Freeway) and I-10 near Sky Harbor Airport from 10pm Friday to 4am Monday (August 26).

Closures also are scheduled along eastbound Loop 202 (Santan Freeway) in the Gilbert area, northbound Loop 101 at Frank Lloyd Wright Boulevard in Scottsdale and I-17 west of the downtown Phoenix area.
