Popular Tempe family movie event returns with a massive hit from 1985

Tempe, Arizona: Movies in the Park is back at Kiwanis Park with a delightful roster of films under the stars for all the family. Tempe’s free movie series, Movies in the Park, returns on Friday, October 4, with a showing of 'Wonka'.

Movies begin at dusk, approximately 6pm, on the north soccer fields at Kiwanis Park, Baseline Road and Ash Avenue (just west of Mill Avenue). It is advisable to arrive early to reserve a spot and hang out with the Tempe Play Mobile for pre-movie activities.

Family BOO Bash

Tempe's Family BOO Bash fall festival will also run on October 25 from 6pm to 10pm with a costume parade and contest at 7pm and a movie screening at 8pm.

Admission is free and activities include train rides, face painting and dance party. Food concessions and carnival games will be available for purchase.
