Peoria, Arizona: A string of four massage parlor break-ins that have occurred overnight across Peoria is now under investigation. Investigators believe the same individual is responsible for all four incidents, which took place within a short distance of one another.

Authorities were first alerted to the break-ins when a suspect allegedly entered a spa near 83rd Avenue and Cactus while employees were still inside. According to police, the suspect gained entry by removing window panes. The same individual is believed to have targeted three other massage parlors within hours of the first burglary.

After the first break-in, the suspect moved on to another spa located at 89th Avenue and Olive. Recognizing a pattern, Peoria police officers began to monitor similar businesses in the area, attempting to stay ahead of the suspect.

Police noted the suspect’s method of entry was highly specialized.

Despite their efforts, by the time officers arrived at a body spa near 91st Avenue and Peoria, the suspect had already fled the scene. The suspect then hit a final massage parlor at 75th Avenue and Thunderbird, completing a spree that stretched across several locations in the city.

Police noted the suspect’s method of entry was highly specialized, with the individual using a suction technique to remove window panes before crawling into the businesses. This has led investigators to believe the suspect may have some form of training or expertise in break-ins.

“All of the businesses were within about five minutes of each other,” Peoria police said, confirming that the burglaries are likely connected. However, the motive behind the crimes remains unclear, and authorities have not disclosed what items, if any, were stolen from the premises.

Police have deployed forensic teams to the various locations to gather fingerprints, DNA, and other evidence. “Our detectives are working fluidly at all the scenes, trying to collect as much information as they can,” a police spokesperson added.

The investigation is ongoing.
