New York: In a rare interview White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles spoke to Fox News host Lara Trump, and opened up about her role in Donald Trump’s political comeback, and the blunt advice she gave him after his 2020 defeat.

Wiles, a longtime GOP strategist who masterminded Trump’s 2024 campaign, described her mission as ensuring the administration runs smoothly. "My job is keeping the trains on the tracks," she told Lara Trump. The full interview airs Saturday on 'My View with Lara Trump'.

Wiles outlined the administration’s priorities: trade policy, immigration crackdowns, and brokering global peace.

Wiles revealed one of her toughest moments: Confronting Trump post-2020 to explain why his election fraud claims wouldn’t hold up. "I told him what he thought was the circumstance, wasn’t," she said. Trump’s response? "Can you fix it?" A testament, Wiles noted, to his resilience.

Wiles outlined the administration’s priorities: trade policy, immigration crackdowns, and brokering global peace. "Rebuilding the economy, removing criminals, and securing peace—these are big, lasting fixes," she said. Her behind-the-scenes role, she emphasized, is to empower Trump and VP JD Vance to execute their agenda.

A political veteran, Wiles began her career on Ronald Reagan’s 1980 campaign and later served as Jacksonville’s chief of staff. She has deep roots in Republican politics and media (her father was legendary sportscaster Pat Summerall).
