Tempe fire: 2 dead including child in mobile home blaze

Tempe, Arizona:  A lethal fire broke out at a mobile home park near Kyrene and Baseline in Tempe, claiming the lives of an adult and a child. The Tempe Fire Department responded to the blaze around 11.30pm, finding the mobile home fully engulfed in flames.

When firefighters entered the home, they discovered the bodies of the adult and child inside. Three other individuals—a child and two adults—were rescued from the inferno and rushed to a nearby hospital, where they remain in critical condition.

Tempe Fire Department officials are currently investigating the cause of the fire. It remains unclear whether anyone attempted to escape the home or if smoke detectors were functioning at the time of the incident.

Authorities have not released the identities of the victims as they work to notify the next of kin. The investigation into the fire is ongoing.
