Weekend Road Closures: From I-10 to Route 51, here's what you need to look out for

Phoenix, Arizona: Here are the closures and restrictions scheduled for improvement projects along Phoenix-area freeways (September 20-23)

Westbound I-10 closed between Loop 202 (Santan Freeway) and US 60 (Superstition Freeway) from 10pm Friday to 5am Monday (September 23). Westbound US 60 narrowed to one lane approaching the I-10 transition.

Northbound I-17 narrowed to one lane between Loop 303 and State Route 74/Carefree Highway in north Phoenix from 9pm Friday to 5am Monday (September 23). Allow plenty of extra travel time while weekend restrictions are in place.

Northbound State Route 51 (Piestewa Freeway) closed between the I-10 "Mini-Stack" interchange near downtown Phoenix and Loop 101 (Pima Freeway) in north Phoenix from 9pm Friday to 9pm Saturday (September 21). The northbound freeway will reopen in sections (north sections first) as pavement sealing work progresses on Saturday.
