Weekend traffic is going to be slow-moving, so plan ahead.

Phoenix, Arizona: ADOT has said that this is an especially busy weekend for improvement project work along Phoenix-area freeways. Here is more info about these closures along Valley freeways.

Be aware of the restrictions and plan accordingly.

Northbound I-17 closed at Jomax Road in north Phoenix from 10 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday (Aug. 12).

Westbound I-10 closed between US 60 (Superstition Freeway) and SR 143 (Hohokam Expressway) from 10 p.m. Friday to 4 a.m. Monday (Aug. 12).

Westbound US 60 (Superstition Freeway) closed between Loop 101 (Price Freeway) and I-10 in Tempe from 9 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday (Aug. 12).

Closures are also scheduled along eastbound Loop 202 (Santan Freeway) between Loop 101 and Arizona Avenue in Chandler as well as northbound Loop 101 (Pima Freeway) at Frank Lloyd Wright Boulevard in Scottsdale.
