Megyn Kelly drops one-word bombshell on Donald Trump as Epstein saga refuses to die down

WASHINGTON D.C.: Conservative influencer and journalist Megyn Kelly has suggested President Donald Trump may have "blessed" a cover-up regarding the controversial Jeffrey Epstein files, escalating tensions within the MAGA movement.
During Monday’s episode of The Megyn Kelly Show, the conservative podcaster questioned Trump's defense of Attorney General Pam Bondi and FBI Director Kash Patel, both of whom had earlier promised transparency on Epstein’s sex trafficking case.
“There is something there, and it's being covered up, and the president blessed it,” Kelly remarked, causing visible surprise for her guest, conservative commentator Ben Shapiro. Kelly clarified she was not accusing Trump of involvement in Epstein's crimes, but hinted that the administration might be protecting reputations, including its own.
Her comments come amid turmoil among Trump supporters who feel betrayed by unfulfilled pledges of transparency. High-profile MAGA figures, such as Laura Loomer, Steve Bannon, Tucker Carlosn, and Elon Musk, have openly accused the administration of withholding critical information. Trump himself attempted to quell frustrations on Truth Social, urging followers to "move on" from Epstein.

Kelly also highlighted internal friction, citing her own sources who indicated that FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino threatened resignation over Bondi’s handling of the Epstein documents. Kelly alleged Bondi had orchestrated press leaks to discredit Bongino.
Additionally, Kelly raised the possibility of a politically motivated twist, speculating that the Biden administration might have deliberately left Epstein documents positioned in a way to embarrass Trump politically.
Despite Trump's denial of any wrongdoing and his insistence that the Epstein matter is closed, Kelly emphasized lingering public doubt. "Many people, including me, do not believe they've released everything that's releasable," she said, underscoring the widespread skepticism still plaguing the administration’s narrative on the Epstein affair.
