HANDBAGS IN THE WHITE HOUSE: The real story behind the alleged Bessent-Musk bust-up

Washington D.C.: New details reveal Tesla CEO Elon Musk and Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent physically clashed at the White House in April, with Musk allegedly ramming Bessent "like a rugby player" after a heated argument.
According to Steve Bannon, tensions erupted following an Oval Office meeting where President Trump sided with Bessent over Musk on an IRS appointment. As they exited, Bessent reportedly called Musk a "fraud" over his failed promise to cut $1 trillion in wasteful spending through his Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE). Musk then shoulder-checked Bessent, who retaliated before staff intervened.
Trump, who reportedly backed Bessent "100%," was displeased by the altercation. The incident underscores Musk’s deteriorating relationship with Trump’s inner circle, including Chief of Staff Susie Wiles, whom he allegedly treated dismissively.

The clash follows earlier reports of Musk’s conflicts with officials like Marco Rubio and allegations of frequent ketamine use affecting his health. Despite Musk’s $288M campaign donation, Trump has since distanced himself, threatening to revoke federal subsidies for Musk’s companies after the billionaire criticized Trump’s spending bill.
On Saturday, Trump confirmed their rift is permanent: "I have no intention of speaking to him." Musk, meanwhile, has deleted inflammatory posts, including an unsubstantiated claim linking Trump to Jeffrey Epstein.
